Belated Easter Card

I'm so sorry that I have not blogged in FOREVER!!!  I've been creating, just not posting :(
We have been busy searching for our first house, and we found it!!  Closing is May 20, so we are preparing for that as well.  Haven't quite started packing up my scrapping stuff, but it will be soon :(

I've also been having TONS of trouble with my Imagine... I went through 3 machine before I got one that worked, and sadly I think it JUST quit on me again!!!!  :*(  I'm going through the Restore right now and crossing my fingers!!!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you a quick Easter card that I made, even though it's a day late!!  I used Simply charmed for the chick and it was cut at 3" and the colors were printed from the Imagine, just basic colors, not cartridge specific.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper "Happiest Moments" stamp set.

Hope you all had a great Easter and enjoyed the card!!
I have many more projects I just loaded onto my hard drive, so I will be posting more soon, I Promise!!

Wedding Card

Hi Everyone!!!

Sorry I haven't been posting much, I've been fighting with Provo Craft about my 2nd broken Cricut Imagine! :(

But today I wanted to share with you a card I made using some 40:31 Creations stamps. I'm not sure if I like how it turned out... I like the idea, but my wet embossing got a little messed up, and I should have inked the edges of the sentiment first!!!

The layer the sentiment is stamped on was cut at 3.5" from Just Because Cards cartridge.
You can see the random spots where excess embossing powder got stuck :(

Have a great day!!

40:31 Creations Design Team Day

***Sooo sorry, I JUST realized that this never posted last week!!!***

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been MIA lately, I've been sick and recently started a night shift position, so trying to adjust but having to flop back and forth....yuck!!  Anyway, here is my card for this weeks 40:31 Creations Design Team post. It's been in the 60s for a few days (Wooohooo!!!) so I wanted to make something warm and summery.

This is just an A2 card, super simple. All the cuts were from scraps, love those days!
The watermelon was cut at 2.5" from Simply Charmed, I decided not to cut the face out on this one.

The stamp is from Lauren's Love stamp set.

Added some stickles to the watermelon for a little sparkle!

Hope you enjoyed this super simple card!

40:31 Creations Design Team Post -- Wedding Album Title Layout

Hi Everyone!

Today for the 40:31 Creations Design Team Post we were to make a scrapbook layout. I have been ready to start my Wedding scrapbook for a while and Lauren's new stamps were just the thing I needed to get started! For this layout I used a stamp from her Marriage Quotes stamp set, it fit PERFECT with the vision I had for the title page of our album! Here is a look at the layout:

I have to mention that these are NOT the photos that will actually be on the page, I didn't have those printed, so I just grabbed these for effect.
The green strip along the middle measures 4"x12"

These stamps produce high quality images and are the perfect size for scrapbook pages and captions for your photos.

All of the letters were cut from Opposites Attract.
"Our" was cut at 3"
Wedding was cut at 1" (no its not glued down bc it will overlap my pics a tad)
The date was cut at 2.5"

I hope you like it! I know I LOVE it and it was just the motivation I needed to get going on this album!!
I will share an updated picture once I get the right photos on here!!

Have a great day and a great weekend everyone!

Happy Birthday Card using Smiley Cards

Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Today I have a pretty simple birthday card that I realized I never posted. I made it a couple of months ago using the Smiley Cards cartridge. I love how it turned out!

The card base is 5.5 x 5.5 (5.5x11 piece of cardstock folded in half)
The yellow checkered layer is 5.25x5.25 that I had in my stash
The emoticon smiley was cut at 3.82 (sized on my Gypsy)
The thought bubble was cut at 1.35 and the Happy Birthday was cut at 1.59

Isn't it so cute and simple?!?!
Have a great day everyone!

Baby card with the Imagine

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Today I wanted to share a quick and easy Baby card I made with my Imagine. LOVING the Imagine, makes it so easy to make quick cards/layouts that are completely coordinated. One thing I always hate is digging through all of my patterned paper trying to find stuff that coordinates, Imagine completely eliminates this!!

I made this card for our friends who recently found out they are expecting! So excited for them!

This is a standard A2 size card.
The layer is a stock image from the Imagine cut at 4" and flood filled with a pattern from Imagine More.
The onsie was cut at 3.5" and also flood filled with Imagine More.

The stamp is from My Pink Stamper "Happiest Moments" stamp set

Have a great day!
