My Pink Stamper Blog Hop & Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Wow! 2 posts in one day! Have you all been participating in the My Pink Stamper Blog Hop?!?! If not go to Robyn's website Here to begin. Each blog gives you a "key word" and if you follow the blog hop order you will see how you can participate too! So fun!

I was also planning on making my project for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge for this week. Her challenge was to make a project using a heart from an "older" cartridge. Here's where I must confess, I used Simply Charmed, which isn't THAT old, but I couldn't resist!!

Ok, onto the project! I made a Valentine's Day treat holder for my 7 year old niece, Taylor. The treat holder is made out of a Campbell's Chunky Soup can the she will be able to open the tab and find some treats! How fun, I think she will love it!  Here it is:

See the bottom of the soup can sitting next to it?!  The trick is to turn the can over and open it from the bottom! That way the pull tab will still work! When you're finished you fill the can, then glue the bottom back on and it looks like they are getting a can sealed with candy!!

The "label" of the can was cut at 10x4 3/4 to give a little overlap to glue it together. The red layer was also cut at 10x4 3/4 and then I used the Martha Stuart Doily Lace punch on both sides. The hearts with the wording were cut at 1.5" from Simply Charmed and the Face hearts were cut at 2" also from Simply Charmed.  The "I Love You" stamp is from My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occassions stamp set!

Hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

Sara
